The 5th stage was labelled the toughest yet by the riders. Wind, rain and numerous crashes plagued the riders. Our African toughed it out, eventually finishing with 2 broken bikes, a more than fair amount of road rash and a 5th place on the stage… a good day’s work! All the action caught by Gruber Images.
