The 3rd stage of the Tour of Turkey would be the queen stage of the race with the finish situated at the top of the cat 1 climb to Elmali. Songezo Jim and Youcef Reguigui would both go on the attack before the climb and then Serge Pauwels finished the day off with 5th place on the stage.
